Thursday and warm with clouds.

Sunny, another of our cats, was sitting with me--helping? Well, certainly interested.

Rori and friends yesterday did a thinking with doodling exercise. The topic was 6th grade. She excited about changing teachers, making friends, and then there's lockers and the amount of schoolwork. Again, I am amazed at how well thinking comes through in doodling.

Enjoy the posters. I sure am!

Wednesday

Now that I'm into these again, I am so amazed. Yes, there are some errors, but, wow! The content and the imagery is amazing. I am very proud of all of you and what you could do. Remember that next year when you're thinking what to do. Remember you can draw, list or write poetry to get your thoughts organized.

Have a history project?
Do it in pictures and a poem to go with it.

Have a math solution?
Draw it first.

Have an essay to write?
List your ideas.

Have a short answer to do?
Draw what comes to mind or list ideas or write a poem.

Be creative when you can. It's appreciated and intelligent.

Ah! My husband was still tweaking the scanner last night. See the dog? I didn't realize he'd scanned it into my poster folder.

It's Bart. He was our dog of 15 years before Casey. Benny reminds me of him. Man, did we love that dog. He had nine lives and used every one. Ask me to tell one of his stories.

I'm Back!

My husband fixed the scanner so posters are back on the horizon.

Five a day.

I hope.

Just like your veggies.

Bummer!

I finally get my rear in gear and am going to diligently post five posters a day...and our scanner goes kerplunk. No posters; nothing much to report, except for rain, rain, and more rain. Would you like the rain gauge report? This morning's rain was about a 1/4 of an inch. Sun for a while and now clouding up again. Today's job? Harvest seaweed so I can put it on the bank for fertilizer. Fun.

Observing...

Sandcrabs. Can you see it?

Now?
You must see the eyes.

Doesn't it look like Mr. Crabs?

The ocean was wet, wicked and wild today. The tow went to the north. There was no staying in one place. We did get to see some good surfers taking the waves on, though.

I finally was able to get a picture of the pelicans. I was lucky. Usually, by the time I got the camera out of its holder and out of the plastic bag I had the case in, they were too far gone.

These are over land and not sea and not in the straight line formation that I so love seeing, but dang it! I did get them, thanks to about 4 people yelling to me as I was snoozing in my chair.

And now, the day is done. We've had pizza and a last dip in the pool.

Good vacation.

The Last Day Begins

Late night activities

Two music men were trying trying to outdo eachother. I must say I think the couch man was winning more than the chair man. Years and years of music helps.

Then, over at the table we had another addict of peggle.
The rest were playing our usual game
... euchre.

Art around the House

What's real and what's not?

Birds on the Beach

(... but no pelicans)
